Simple Backstory

Koji spent most of his childhood happy and working hard on a melon farm with his parents. However at the age of 10 the Garleans showed up, murdered his parents, and burnt down the farm. On his own since Koji has lived a life filled with perils and hardships that have disallowed him even the most simple of luxuries like a roof over his head or friendship.Fleeing to Eorzea as a Doman Refugee Koji worked as a simple errand/chore boy in Mor Dhona, doing his best to scrape by. And then one day he decided to quit his job and become an adventurer after watching the adventurer Kinnison Shields hold his own against an entire squad of Imperial soldiers.Always doing his best to stay positive and energetic Koji continues his way to being an adventurer and attaining his dream, to one day be a man that everyone can depend on, to be a hero.

Personality

It's easy to look at someone like Koji and to write him off as a typical, uninteresting Hyur. However if you likely spent more than 3 minutes with him you'll discover that you likely made a mistake interacting with him. Hot-blooded, ingenuous, and always positive Koji is a firm believer in the aspects of hard work and 'doing the right thing."Positivity and a "can-do attitude" are the aspects of himself Koji wants to project to the world. Because he has chosen to be an adventuring hero he does everything in his power to do good things for others and always set a good example.However there are aspects of his personality that Koji tries his best to keep hidden from others, swallowed deep in his soul. He hides the sorrow of losing his parents, being far from home and everything he ever remembered, and overall survivor's guilt with laughter and smiles as he tries his best to make others happy in an attempt to avoid his own problems.He also has a deep in-laid fear of being behind from everybody else, or being seen as "dumb" or "naive" for his feelings or thoughts. He typically hides those feelings behind a false bravado as he recklessly approaches things with wanton disregard for his personal well-being.

WHAT ROLEPLAYING MEANS TO ME

First and foremost roleplaying is meant to be both a positive and fun experience for everyone. The moment that things stop becoming either of these things than it is time to stop. However I feel that if adjustments need to be made everyone should always be open to at least some compromise for the sake of the experience.One of the most important facts about me that I think anyone should know is that I feel inlcusion is a necessity. Everyone should feel included and if that means making the process to play easier or harder, than so be it, as long as we are all having fun.Willing to Play... anything that can be seen as "consensual" or possibly prevalent to character growth or story, even if it's a slightly dark or "blue" shad. I'm not very good at roleplaying erotically, due to being out of practice, but I am not against the idea.Please Ask Before... coercing or possibly performing actions that can be seen as "blackmail." Thing like imprisonment or personal servitude bothers me, but I can be sold on the idea if I think it can assist in character growth.Unwilling to Play... particularly brutal, non-consensual acts like torture, sexual assault, or just flat-out brutal murdering somone else. Would rather stay out of anything involving watersports or scatplay.-I don't think I can emphasize enough that the most important thing you can do to be on my good noodle list is stay in communication, if you are uncomfortable with something all you need to do is send me that /tell!-

The following is a list of signature drinks Koji is able to make when he is tending a bar.

Highballer/Highballer MAX

Koji's primary signature drink, so good his mentor copied it himself. Ishgardian Vodka and Allagan Melon Liquer served with a melon ball garnish. Or have it "MAX" style, Ishgardian "High and Mighty" grain alcohol mixed with High Allagan Melon Liquer. Same sweet, melon flavor, but the alcohol equivalent of four drinks in one.

Doman Claw Bomb

A drink made popular during the Doman Revolution, all the sophistication of looking like you're drinking whisky without none of the burning taste. A shot of Allagan Melon Liqueur and Sweet Syrup dropped into a glass of Garlean Rye Whisky.

Hingan Slipper

A taste of the east comes to the west with this refreshingly cool spritzer. Allagan Melon Liqueur and Cucumber-Infused Sake mixed with a splash of high grade orange liqueur and Yuzu Lemon Flavored Sparkling Water over ice.

Garuda's Cyclone

Tall and Pretty, just like the primal it is named after, also will blow you away if you don't be careful. Shochu and Allagan Melon Liqueur served on ice with a splash of lemon juice. Has a slight earthy flavor with a touch of tangy sweetness.

Gridanian Sunrise

To prove his ability as a bartender Koji had to learn to perfectly mimic his mentor's flagship drink. Gridanian Vodka, Peach Schnapps, and Triple Sec combined with Orange Juice and drizzled with grenadine to give it that "sunny look." It's sweet, it's tart, but most importantly it's very strong.

Isari Iced Tea

Purposely made to help one relax but be open to ideas. Gridanian Vodka, Gilgamesh Tequila, Dravanian Gin, and Isari Specialty Honey Rum masterfully mixed together to make a drink that tastes like sweetened Chamomile Honey Tea. With more liquor in it than most drinks only the most reckless ever have more than one glass.
